This month, as part of my birthday celebration on 6th September 2026, I want to raise around KES 100,000 (~SEK 10,000 or ~NOK 10,000 or ~USD 1,000) to buy at least three desktop computers for my old high school in Kangemi.

The visit

I went back to the school I came from.

I recently visited my former high school in the Kangemi slums, and I came away re-energized to do something meaningful for the school. After a long discussion with the principal, I'd like to start by helping them acquire at least 3 desktop computers, at a cost of around KES 100,000. At the moment, they have just two computers serving more than 400 students.

This is only the beginning. Over time, I'd like to help equip the computer lab with around 20 computers, support the school library, and hopefully fund the education of a few needy students from the surrounding community.

With my birthday coming up this Sunday, I'd like to use the occasion to raise the first KES 100,000 and get this process started. I'd appreciate you joining me in this.
